Dr. Sybil Dias, OD
Dr. Sybil Dias graduated with honors from the University of Waterloo after completing her undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto. She is board certified by the Canadian Examiners in Optometry and is qualified in the treatment and management of ocular disease. Dr. Dias worked alongside ophthalmologists and retinal specialists during her ocular disease internship at John Dingell Veteran Affairs Hospital in Detroit, MI. Dr. Dias has been practicing for several years in a variety of settings, including surgical LASIK co-management, retail and private practice. She has a special interest in contact lenses and ocular disease. While not at the office she enjoys traveling, playing the piano and spending time with her husband and two young children-Spencer & Sophia.
Dr. Simran Gill was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario and attended Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences for her Optometric studies. She has had the privilege of doing her rotations all over the US, and has experience with contact lenses, ocular disease, vision therapy and post operative care. In her free time, she enjoys staying active, trying new recipes and reading. She is passionate about travel and discovering new cultures and food.
Dr. Gurveen Thandi, OD
Dr. Gurveen Thandi completed her undergraduate studies in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Guelph. She then attended the Chicago College of Optometry to obtain her Doctor of Optometry. During her clinical training she gained valuable experience in various settings in Chicago, Michigan, North Carolina and Minnesota. Her clinical experience included a variety of specialties including pediatric eyecare, specialty contact lenses and treatment and management of ocular disease.
Dr. Thandi is committed to providing exceptional eye care to all of her patients while sharing her passion for Optometry and can’t wait to meet all of our patients here at Caledon Optometry Clinic
