Dr. Sybil Dias, OD
Dr. Sybil Dias is an experienced optometrist with a special interest in contact lenses and ocular disease. She takes a thoughtful, patient-centred approach to eye care and enjoys taking the time to understand each patient’s concerns and help them feel comfortable and informed about their eye health.
Dr. Dias graduated with honours from the University of Waterloo after completing her undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto. She is board certified by the Canadian Examiners in Optometry and is qualified in the treatment and management of ocular disease.
During her ocular disease internship at John Dingell Veterans Affairs Hospital in Detroit, Michigan, Dr. Dias worked alongside ophthalmologists and retinal specialists, gaining experience in the management of a wide range of complex eye conditions. She has also worked in a variety of clinical settings, including private practice, retail optometry, and surgical LASIK co-management.
Outside the clinic, family is at the centre of Dr. Dias’ life. She enjoys playing the piano, spending time with her husband and their two young children, Spencer and Sophia and traveling as a family whenever they can. Exploring new places, experiencing different cultures, and making memories together is something they all love.
Dr. Simran Gill, OD
Dr. Simran Gill was born and raised in Toronto and completed her optometric studies at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. During her clinical training, she had the opportunity to complete rotations in a variety of settings across the United States, gaining experience in contact lenses, ocular disease, vision therapy, and post-operative care.
Dr. Gill enjoys getting to know her patients and helping them feel comfortable and informed about their eye health. She values taking the time to listen, answer questions, and provide care that is tailored to each patient’s needs.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Gill enjoys staying active, trying new recipes, and getting lost in a good book. She is also passionate about travel and loves discovering new cultures, places, and foods along the way.
Dr. Gurveen Thandi, OD
Dr. Gurveen Thandi completed her undergraduate studies in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Guelph. She then attended the Chicago College of Optometry to obtain her Doctor of Optometry. During her clinical training she gained valuable experience in various settings in Chicago, Michigan, North Carolina and Minnesota. Her clinical experience included a variety of specialties including pediatric eyecare, specialty contact lenses and treatment and management of ocular disease.
Dr. Thandi is committed to providing exceptional eye care to all of her patients while sharing her passion for Optometry and can’t wait to meet all of our patients here at Caledon Optometry Clinic
Stephanie Facciolo-Clinic Manager
Stephanie’s friendly face is what you’ll likely see as soon as you step into our practice. She was born and raised in Toronto and was a musical theatre artist during her college years. With 20+ years of experience in the customer service industry, and as a former beauty business owner herself, she thrives in fast paced and energetic environments where she is able to meet and help all new kinds of people! She is a big lover of music and fashion and in her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and loves to read.
Sheila-Clinic Assistant
Sheila is a long time resident of the community and brings with her years of experience in customer care and banking. She enjoys meeting new people and finding functional but aesthetically pleasing eyewear that is at the forefront of recent trends. Her meticulousness and attention to detail are exemplary and she’s always striving to ensure she goes above and beyond for every single person that walks through our doors.
